The prices of cars will increase, however, demand for certain vehicle will drop due to the high price of gas. Some manufacturers are giving up 10k under MSRP price to move their SUVs for example. Of course cars that are more fuel efficient will net a higher price.
It won’t make a difference. If new cars increase in price due to metal prices, your old car will also increase in worth because it’s made of…metal.

i dont think you have too much to worry about. Used cars wount go up in price mainly because people need to sell them.
