Right now while sales are slow and rebates are at an all time high or you can wait just before the end of the year when the inventory will be a lot less in 2006 deals and you may be stuck with something you don’t want in some ugly color…..go right now or you will be looking again this same time next year….if in Texas come see me!!

Right now. The car dealers are getting shipments of new ‘07 models and still have a bunch of ‘06 models to sell.

A good deal is a frame of mind. I work at a car dealership and I won’t sell a car any cheaper on the 30th of the month then on the 3rd of the month. Year end clearance is based on incentives from the manufacturer. The dealer already paid x amount for the car. We won’t lose money on it. We rely on help from the car maker to sweeten the deal. By the way, The winter is a little slower so we want to make more on the car not less. Common misconception. Hope this helps

Last few days of the month. Salesman need to make there figures.
Or longer term around February, that’s when sales are down because everyone got the bills from Christmas.

the cheapest is buy the last model just before the new model would come out. The car manufacturer usually brings out new models every 4 years. The last batch of the model usually comes with lot of free options. As long as they do not come out with new engine its okay to buy older model (looks changes but engines do not change much). So go and get the last model its cheaper with lot of free options.

If from a dealership, at the end of the month… and usually dealerships don’t sell as many vehicles during the winter, usually November, December and January are their worst sale months… and because they are really trying to sell as many as possible before taxes… I bought a new car last November, on the 30th… I had them talked down ALOT!!! Happy hunting!

Well, if you have a county fair or something like that they often have huge savings there.

If you are talking about a new car, new years eve right before closing.
they want to a) go home b) dont want to pay inventory tax on the vehicle. c) the sales mans end of the month/year total .
Used: a few days before X-mas if you are buying from an individual.
(most are hard up for cash, hence selling the vehicle)

the best time to buy a car is after income tax or hoilday sales.
